A1 ACE Taxis was formed in August 2009, as a result of a merger between A1 Deane Taxis and ACE Taxis. With over forty years experience in the Taxi business the enlarged business allowed us to become more efficient in order that we could provide better customer service.
With more vehicles on the road we can be more environmentally friendly than our competitors as we can route our vehicles to reduce wasted mileage.
It has also meant that the Independent drivers we work with have voted to run a fare structure that is below that used in other firms. Whilst on Bank holidays we only charge time and a half as opposed to double time, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
